A gorgeous single barrel bourbon aged for over 10 years, and bottled at it’s unadulterated barrel proof (101.2).
This particular run of barrels saw an incredibly unique aging patten, generally being stored in the cooler, more humid parts of the rickhouses.
This aging pattern leads to a gorgeous color, as well as crushable proof.
Intense notes of maraschino cherries come forward at first, prominent but not overpowering. This is followed by a lighter strawberry mousse, and rounded out well with a confectionary chocolate note and a deep tobacco tone at the finish.

This barrel was distilled at a heritage distillery in Bardstown, KY. Aged 10 years and 9 months and bottled at it’s barrel proof of 109, it opens with rich notes of apple crisp and caramelized brown butter layered with banana and chocolate syrup. Closely following are notes of maple sweetness and classic baking spices. The finish lingers with soft clove, a touch of black pepper, and nostalgic hints of warm apple crisp and melting French vanilla ice cream-an aged, dessert-forward profile with depth and distinction.
